Italianpack’s thirty-year experience has allowed it to focus on its customers’ practical needs, aware of the ever-increasing importance of ease of use and tooling speed. ARGO, depending on the application, is equipped with a lower die tool-free, cleaning and maintenance operations.
The die change operations are made easier thanks to a die trolley, on which the die is positioned and fastened; the trolley is equipped with a 180° die rotation system, which allows it to be accessed easily for cleaning and maintenance operations. The trolley can be equipped with a preheating system that allows the die to be brought to the required operating temperature before being positioned inside the machine, therefore it will be ready for use avoiding downtime.
The die handling operations (opening and closing) take place by means of a worm screw, which ensures extremely fast and precise movements, making ARGO distinctive in its kind; compared to the classic movements (toggle or pneumatic) the strokes are therefore adjusted more easily and there is a higher sealing pressure, speeding up the packaging cycle.
In order to optimise and maximise productivity, ARGO is equipped with a powerful and compact vacuum pump for normal production, but where necessary it can be fitted with vacuum accelerators to increase its performance.
One of Italianpack’s main objectives is to help its customers to produce with greater efficiency. The presence of a 15”colour touch screen allows the operator to interact with the machine intuitively and monitor its operation.
The touch screen is fitted on an adjustable arm and allows the operator to monitor and control the machine from both sides.
ItalianPack Argo reaches packaging performance standards of 25 cycles per minute in sealing mode, 18 cycles per minute in MAP mode and up to 10 cycles per minute in SKIN mode.

All motors, except the one for lifting the chamber, are connected to a planetary gearbox which ensures high efficiency and accuracy thanks to the increase in motor torque.
Handling welding bell
The rise and fall of the welding bell is carried out by a worm screw controlled by a servo Bruschless motor, in addition to the speed and a high and constant pressure, we have a total flexibility to every change format being able to adjust the height of the bell through program. In addition, the worm screw is equipped with an automatic greaser.

Aware of the importance of minimising downtime, ARGO is equipped with a modem and an integrated Ethernet port for ADSL connection, thus ensuring timely remote assistance and monitoring of the packaging machine even if it is located in places that are difficult to reach. ARGO is also designed to meet the requirements of INDUSTRY 4.0


Easy cleaning
Argo has been designed to meet all the hygiene requirements of food inudstria. Thanks to the materials used, the tray handling arms positioned at the top, the possibility to open the conveyor belts of the line and make them suspended and have a plan compleationally accessible for washing and sanitizing our line is completely accessible and washable.
